BETWEEN CANADA AND CHINA
A practice between Canada and China

Working across Canada and China offers a useful double perspective. Canadian projects highlight questions of public realm, ecological repair, and incremental change. Chinese projects stress speed, scale, and the complexity of delivering large districts under tight timelines.
By moving between these contexts, we test how ideas travel: how Canadian approaches to landscape and public life can inform new districts in China, and how Chinese experimentation with density and hybridity can challenge assumptions back home. This cross-border lens keeps the work flexible, pragmatic, and open to new prototypes for streets, blocks, and neighbourhoods.
