Open Call Phase Expert Evaluation Meeting of International Architecture Design Competition of Shenzhen Opera House was held on April 1, 2020, at the conference room of Floor 8, Planning Building, 8009 Hongli West Road, Futian District, Shenzhen. The jury team comprises 7 experts (He Jingtang, Meng Jianmin, Zhu Rongyuan, Liu Xiaodu, Liu Heng, Zhong Bing, Xiao Cheng) and 2 organizer representatives, and He Jingtang is the chairman of jury members.
The jury team carefully reviewed all the registration documents and early concept proposals. After three rounds of voting, the jury team recommend shortlist 12 as follows:

In total, the city received over 70 design proposals from around the world.
